IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION While testing interface of Salesforce-ZohoProject
- Always test in Sandbox and avoid testing in PROD
- If you have no other choice but to test a functionality in PROD, Let's set a stipulated time like 12 noon to 2 PM IST for PROD testing.
- Lets not put the amount more than 10$ in any test opportunity
- Delete the test records before closing the testing.
- Obtain approval (probably from Sentil) before you do any testing in PROD.
- Do not modify/remove any real data. If you have done anything accidentally, please report to me immediately
- Always use a certain prefix/suffix ('Test' etc.,) to identify the test records.
- Refrain sending any email alerts (system generated) for any test records to the business leaders.
- Keep a log of test records in a google sheet. Please enter the details in that sheet before you even enter any test data in the PROD system. This helps in cleaning all the test records without leaving anything left in the system.
